Obama Derangement Syndrome

I'd just like to clear the air regarding Obama:
  1. I don't think he's a terrorist or a terrorist supporter.
  2. I don't think he's unpatriotic.
  3. I don't think he's a communist or a socialist.
  4. I don't think he's a Muslim.
  5. I don't think he secretly plans on destroying this country.
  6. I don't think he's a black militant.
That is all.

I think he is a socialist, and I think his ties to the Arabs are scary. That being said, I believe he is patriotic, but his vision for America's future is different than most Americans. He believes that we should be socialistic like in Europe and fairness trumps all. If it means sinking many industries in America for the greater good (coal is the latest one), than so be it b/c it will create a "greater and friendlier" united states. The guy is in favor of legislating from the bench and the fact that he has let his opinions be known on all of the things he has through supposed "slip ups" worries me about what he is not telling us.

That's great. Now how do you think McCain would do tomorrow if everybody in the country agreed with you?

Exactly the same. There are a million valid reasons not to vote for Obama. Anyone who belies anything I listed has many other valid reasons not to vote for the guy.
Then why have McCain and Palin been pushing the "socialist" and "palling around with terrorist" lines?
Unfortunately, people who parade those views around are turning off people in the middle, since they know those aren't true.

Grr.
Neither do I think all these about him. But, somehow sometimes I feel something is wrong with his ideology and objectivity.
